Dr. Venkatesh Karthikeyan serves as the Senior Resident in the Department of Community and Family Medicine at AIIMS Patna. He holds prominent positions including the Publications Director (JDN) at the World Medical Association and the National Convenor for Antimicrobial Resistance at the Indian Medical Association. Additionally, he is the Director of Medical Education (JDN) for the Commonwealth Medical Association. An established public health expert, Dr. Karthikeyan specializes in antimicrobial resistance and non-communicable diseases. His distinguished career is marked by over 15 funded research projects in partnership with major organizations such as the Government of India, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, World Health Organization, Indian Medical Association, Indian Council of Medical Research, UNICEF, World NCD Federation, and NIMHANS. A six-time recipient of the Indian Medical Association's National Awards, including Best Medical Student and Best Young Doctor, Dr. Karthikeyan has authored more than 10 publications in reputed international and national PubMed-indexed journals.
